Indiana Phones is located on Grand Ave in Pacific Beach — one block from the ocean, between Ingraham and Lamont. If you’re coming from downtown San Diego, we’re about a 15-minute drive up I-5. From La Jolla, you’re 10 minutes south on La Jolla Blvd. From Mission Valley, take I-5 south to Grand Ave. There’s street parking directly out front and additional parking on the surrounding residential streets.

Our Pacific Beach location is intentional. Most San Diego phone repair shops are tucked into strip malls miles from where people actually live and work. What We Repair

We’re a full-service repair shop for Apple and Samsung devices. The four categories below cover about 95% of what comes through the door. If your device or issue isn’t listed, call us — we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s something we can fix.

iPhone Repair

Screen replacement, battery replacement, charging port repair, back glass repair, water damage diagnostics, and logic board work. We service every iPhone model from the 8 through the 17 series. Most iPhone screen replacements are finished while you wait — usually in under 30 minutes.

Samsung Galaxy Repair

Galaxy S20 through S25 (including Plus and Ultra variants), Note 20, Note 10. Screen replacements, battery swaps, charging ports, back glass. Samsung OLED panels are more involved than iPhone screens — most Galaxy repairs take 45 to 60 minutes.

iPad Repair

iPad Pro, iPad Air, iPad Mini, and iPad 6th through 10th generation. We handle screen and digitizer replacement, battery replacement, and diagnostics. iPad screens are glued assemblies, so they take longer than iPhones — usually same-day but not same-hour.

MacBook Repair

MacBook Air and MacBook Pro — screen replacement, battery service, keyboard repair. We know the butterfly-keyboard generation that Apple never got right, all the way through the current M-series machines.

What We Don’t Do

Being honest about limitations builds trust. A few things to know:

  • We don’t repair iPad charging ports. The assembly design makes this uneconomical for customers — if your iPad has a charging issue, we’ll diagnose it for free and tell you whether it’s actually the port, a software issue, or a battery problem that’s cheaper to address.

We focus on iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, iPads, and MacBooks. For Apple Watch, AirPods, or Pixel repair, we can point you toward a shop that specializes in those devices.

Is it cheaper to repair my phone than buy a new one?

In almost every case, yes — significantly cheaper. The main exception is a phone that’s several generations old with a failing battery and a cracked screen; at that point, it may be worth upgrading. We’ll tell you honestly when a repair doesn’t make financial sense.
